The Warriors returned to their home state from an arduous season-opening road trip that saw them drop all three contests to non-conference opponents. ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Merrimack Warriors Men’s Basketball team got their postseason play underway in Atlantic City for the MAAC Basketball Championship. Seventh seed Sacred Heart beat 10th seed Fairfield to matchup with second seed Merrimack in the quarterfinal Wednesday night. The quarterfinal game started off slow and defensive as neither team was able to put the ball in the hole in the first two minutes.

NORTH ANDOVER, Ma. – In Saturday’s 74-55 win over Saint Francis University, Merrimack Men’s Basketball had one player particularly stand out. Adam “Budd” Clark, the Philadelphia native, went off for a career-high 30 points, converting 11-20 from the field. Before their 6-1 blowout loss at Providence College on December 31, the Merrimack Warriors were riding a four-game win streak and an impressive overall record of 14-4 going into the new year, ranking as high as fifth in the country.
