Jack Lawhorne
As I continue my academic journey at Merrimack College, my goal is to build a career at the intersection of sports journalism, digital media, and content innovation. With a foundation in campus journalism, podcasting, and social media, I am committed to sharpening my ability to tell compelling stories that resonate across platforms and generations.
Looking ahead, I aim to contribute to the evolving landscape of sports media—whether through on-air broadcasting, long-form reporting, or digital strategy. I am particularly interested in the way that sports shape culture and community, and I want to be part of the next generation of media professionals who not only inform but inspire and engage.
My future plans include pursuing opportunities in professional sports coverage, working in a dynamic newsroom or media outlet, and continuing to grow as a multi-platform creator. Whether behind the mic, on camera, or in the writer’s seat, I am driven by a deep respect for the craft of storytelling and a lifelong love for the game.
