Merrimack guards Kevair Kennedy and Ernest Shelton have entered the transfer portal, according to On3 and The Field of 68.

Both from Philadelphia, Kennedy, a freshman, and Shelton, a junior, both played together at Father Judge High School before their collegiate days.

Kennedy led the Warriors and the MAAC in scoring this past season with 18.4 points per game, taking home MAAC Player of the Year honors.

Shelton was second in scoring for Merrimack and fifth in the MAAC with 15.9 points per game.

Both players were First Team All-MAAC selections.

This announcement comes just one week after Merrimack also lost MAAC Defensive Player of the Year KC Ugwuakazi to the transfer portal.

Sophomore guard Brendan Johnson, a highly touted recruit out of Calvert Hall, will also enter the transfer portal.
